Privacy Policy

Disco Elysium Wiki does not create an account unless you sign in.

If you sign in with Google, Discord, Twitch or Steam, the site stores the account id that provider gives you and the display name from the provider when one is present. The site never asks for your email address and does not keep one.

Twitch sign-in also keeps an encrypted Twitch access token, used only to check that your Twitch sign-in is still valid.

Analytics run only if they load, including when you are not signed in. When they do, they record general traffic such as page views, not a profile of you as an individual. Google Analytics and PostHog may be used.

When you are signed in, the site keeps what you choose to post or save under your account: comments, ratings, correction proposals, saved tool states and favourites. Comments, ratings and corrections are kept so other readers can see them after moderation; saved states and favourites are kept so you can return to them on another device.

A sign-in session lasts up to 92 days and ends earlier when you sign out.

When you use this site's app in ChatGPT or another assistant, the assistant sends this site the tool it calls and that tool's inputs: a search phrase, an entry kind and name, a language, a story day, a spoiler choice and a result position. The site uses them only to answer that request and does not store them. The request carries no account, so the site cannot tie it to you.

Every request, an assistant app's included, is recorded in the web server's access log: the sending address, the time, the requested path, the response status and size, the referring page and the client name. Access logs are deleted after 15 days.

Account details and what you posted or saved stay until you ask for your account to be deleted.

To learn what the site holds about your account, or to have it deleted, write [email protected] from the account you signed in with.

If you are unsure about anything, write [email protected].

This policy is effective 21 October 2026. The address stays discoelysium.wiki/privacy.
