"Again?! I can't believe this shit..." He shakes his head, looking like he really is having trouble believing this shit.

There's something strange about this guy. Figure it out.

"Now will you answer some questions for me?"

"No," he says calmly, then just keeps staring at you.

"Why not?"

"Cause it's not my job. Why don't you go and fucking do yours and solve this damn hanging?"

"If you don't want to answer questions maybe you want to hear me say things?"

"Actually, I don't want to hear you say things."

"C'mon, Jean..."

"Okay. Say things." He adopts a lighter tone. "I want to hear you say things."

Hear that? He wants you to say things. Say one!

Suddenly, out of nowhere, case-related things start popping up in your head!

"Okay, the person who was shot and hanged. He may have been shot by the person who made it look like he was hanged."

"A cover-up -- where the author of the cover-up is the perp? Makes sense."

"I know, right? But what's the motive?"

"You don't have a motive? Then the double cover-up seems too neat."

"Yeah... hey, why am I telling you these things?"

"I don't know... why are you?" He gives you an odd look.

"Oh my god, there's more..." He looks at you in disbelief. "You want something more... what is it?"

It's like you felt it would be intellectually stimulating -- and would lead somewhere. A custom even? Strange...

Who knows why we do the things we do. Somehow bouncing those ideas off the man with sunglasses felt calming. Like you've done it before.

You know what? It must be because he's buff. He looks like he works out like he's got the devil on his back.

"Okay, this person who was shot and then made to look like he was hanged -- he might have been shot by the people who hanged him."

"I get it. Okay. But what is the motive?"

"To cover something up?"

"That would be my first guess, yes."

"It's quite possible... hey! Why am I telling you these things?"

"The person who we think shot him -- who made it look like he was hanged, that we're looking for -- we can't find her."

"Well... where have you looked for her?"

"Well, yeah... hey, why am I telling you these things?"

"We think she may be on the coast."

"West of here? Though luck. The place is ruined from the bombardment. A lot of places to hide there..."

"I have a little problem. The person who was hanged is still hanging there. I still haven't taken him down."

"Let's talk about something else then."

"Or...OR..." The man with sunglasses raises his index finger. "We could go back to doing our jobs. This was stupid..."

"Don't you have to?"

"No, he doesn't."

"If I wasn't clinically depressed, I'd burst out laughing." He doesn't look amused. "But I'm gonna go with no right now."

"Fine."

The man in sunglasses nods.

"Are you famous or something?"

"Not as famous as you, superstar." He says without the slightest hint of irony.

Yeah... it's still irony.

"It's happening! My hard work is paying off! I'm becoming famous!"

"Oh, yes you are! And you've worked really, really hard, haven't you?"
