"What can I do for you, boss-man?"

"Could you and your pals sign this document?" (Show Evrart's letter.)

"What's it about?" He waves his hand apathetically. "Ah, I'll let my hand address the situation."

"Maybe you've heard? I used to be a very successful businessman. I've signed more than a few lease forms or whatever the fuck they were." He looks around. "Anyone got a pen? The pro's gonna do it."

"I have this blue oblong pen." (Lend him your pen.)

"Alright!" He grabs the pen and paper from your hands and, very carefully, scribbles on the dotted line, next to 'Lilienne Carter': 'Idiot Doom Spiral'.

"Uh, can I have the pen back too?"

"Don't know if I've mentioned it, but I used to be a businessman and as a businessman I am going to keep the pen for my trouble." He nods confidently.

Nooooo! That was my favourite thing, of all the things you have. This had better be worth losing the pen for.

"Glad to have been of assistance!" He gives you a thumbs up, and the envelope also. "After all this time, I feel like I've made a difference..."

The incapacitated drunk lays there snoring like an ancient rusting tractor.

"Thank you for your help." He turns to you. "Should we go and mail this? I think I saw a mailbox on the plaza."

"Mailbox, plaza -- got it! Bye!" [Leave.]

"I wanna ask these guys a couple of things first."

"Okay, what's on your mind?"

"Anything else this merry band of adventurers can do for you, or do you need to go and mail that serious looking document of yours?" His face lightens up. "There's a mailbox on the plaza."

"Don't call Abigail!" The drunk in the pipe snorts and takes a swig from his bottle. The bottle is empty.

"You've done a great service to the community, to the RCM and to Revachol."

"Hey, guys -- I'm a hero!" He hands you the envelope, and waves his hand erratically at his companions.

"Hell yes!" The red-nosed drunk brings his hand up to his head for a salute.

"Alright!" He grabs the pen and paper and carefully, scribbles on the dotted line -- next to Lilienne's signature -- 'Idiot Doom Spiral'.

"I need at least two signatures on the document."

"Hey Abs!" He shouts to the non-responsive drunk still dribbling drool from the side of his mouth.

"HEY ABS! ABS!" He grabs his passed-out friend by the shoulder and shakes him a bit.

The man mumbles incoherently.

"Hey! Goddamn Abigail is here, wake up! WAKE UP!" His efforts get no response.

"I don't think he can help, he's completely out of it."

"I'll be damned... uh, well, uh... that's what we have Rosemary for!" He points to the third drunkard. "You can help, right?"

The jolly man looks at you, then his friend in the tracksuit. "Sure I can fuckin' help. You need a signature -- I got you a signature."

Before you can reply he's already furiously scribbling something on the paper. When he hands the document back to you, the signature -- in upper case letters -- reads: "DON'T CALL ABIGAIL."

Not exactly an expert forgery. Don't Call Abigail would have signed something more like Domwtclall Abheqoeel.

"You've done a great service to the village, to the RCM, and to Revachol.

"Hey, guys -- we're heroes!" He waves his hand erratically to the other guys.

"'Bout fuckin' time, man. I've done my duty." He brings his hand up to his head for a salute.

"Fuckin' cops, man, always hasslin' the poor folk." He shakes his head. "You know what? I'm keepin' the pen and that's the end of it."
